Key qualifications, experience:
Empirical research experience in income distribution, consumer price subsidies, regional planning, rural sociology. Public opinion surveys. Researches, sociological surveys on local societies, environmental and health issues. (Environmental policy, environmental education, health behaviour).
In the last few years involved primarily in sociological research and statistical surveying of international migration. Establishing a statistical observation system of international migration in Hungary. Managing the inter-agency working group aiming to co-ordinate the data collection in this field.
Experience of different forms of international co-operation: speaker and participant on international conferences, author and consultant for various international organisations (UN, CE, IOM, UNHCR, and EUROSTAT). Participating in the expert group elaborating the UN-EUROSTAT recommendations on international migration statistics.
Participation in the work of the Strategic Task Force for European Integration (working group on labour - issues of migration and labour).
Experience in organisation and co-ordination of survey type researches for national and international agencies.
